چکیده
A total of 150 rectal swab samples were collected from diarrheic dogs the Sivas Municipal Animal Shelter, Turkey in April 2018. While 127 faecal gathered adults, 23 puppies. Canine parvovirus type 2 (Carnivore protoparvovirus 1), minute virus bocaparvovirus 1) and bocavirus 2) examined by PCR with three sets novel primers. Some amplicons subjected to molecular sequencing analysis. Three (2.36%) found be positive for Carnivore 1, five (3.94%) 1 among adult dogs. On other hand, 14/23 (60.87%) 8/23 (34.78%) 6/23 (26.09%) Moreover, we detected two distinct clades according To best our knowledge, this is first report direct detection Turkey.

Frequent cross-species transmission of parvoviruses among diverse carnivore hosts.
Although parvoviruses are commonly described in domestic carnivores, little is known about their biodiversity in nondomestic species. A phylogenetic analysis of VP2 gene sequences from puma, coyote, gray wolf, bobcat, raccoon, and striped skunk revealed two major groups related to either feline panleukopenia virus ("FPV-like") or canine parvovirus ("CPV-like"). Cross-species transmission was co...

Large terrestrial carnivores are important ecological components and 11 prominent flagship species, but are often extinction prone due to a combination of 12 biological traits and high levels of human persecution. This study combines 13 phylogenetic and functional diversity evaluations of global and continental large 14 carnivore assemblages to provide a framework for conservation prioritizatio...
متن کاملMolecular analysis of carnivore Protoparvovirus detected in white blood cells of naturally infected cats
BACKGROUND Cats are susceptible to feline panleukopenia virus (FPV) and canine parvovirus (CPV) variants 2a, 2b and 2c. Detection of FPV and CPV variants in apparently healthy cats and their persistence in white blood cells (WBC) and other tissues when neutralising antibodies are simultaneously present, suggest that parvovirus may persist long-term in the tissues of cats post-infection without ...
متن کاملMolecular characterization of canine astrovirus, vesivirus and circovirus, isolated from diarrheic dogs in Turkey
Background: Canine astrovirus (CAstV) has been considered the primary cause of gastroenteritis in young animals worldwide, while canine vesivirus (CVeV) and canine circovirus (CCiV) are occasionally reported. Aims: This study aimed to investigate the existence and molecular characteristics for these three viruses in Turkey. Methods: Faecal samples from 150 shelter dogs with gastrointestinal pro...
متن کاملRabies, canine distemper, and canine parvovirus exposure in large carnivore communities from two Zambian ecosystems.
Disease transmission within and among wild and domestic carnivores can have significant impacts on populations, particularly for threatened and endangered species. We used serology to evaluate potential exposure to rabies virus, canine distemper virus (CDV), and canine parvovirus (CPV) for populations of African lions (Panthera leo), African wild dogs (Lycaon pictus), and spotted hyenas (Crocut...
